Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the website, installing the open-source SDK packages (aegis-guard, @planetj/*), or utilizing the cloud API gateway provided by Planet J Digital, LLC ("Planet J", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity.

2. Open-Source SDK Licensing

The core client-side circuit-breaking and SRE libraries distributed through PyPI and npm are licensed under the permissive Apache License, Version 2.0. You are free to inspect, modify, and embed these open-source libraries into your proprietary software products subject to the license conditions.

Proprietary cloud services, including the centralized multi-tenant telemetry dashboards, managed webhook ingestion proxies, and enterprise single-tenant VPC orchestration clusters, remain the intellectual property of Planet J Digital, LLC.

3. API Access & Fair Usage

Developer tier accounts receive allotted monthly guarded runs and telemetry ingestion credits according to their chosen tier. You agree not to:

• Circumvent rate limits, circuit breaker constraints, or tenant isolation boundaries.
• Use the services to execute malicious distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks against third-party LLM providers.
• Reverse engineer or decompile non-open-source serverless worker binaries or cloud ingress controllers.

4. Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) Responsibility

You are solely responsible for maintaining the security and funding of your third-party LLM provider API credentials (e.g. Anthropic, Google Vertex AI, OpenAI). Planet J provides algorithmic circuit breakers and spend safeguards, but is not responsible for upstream billings, API outages, or rate throttling enforced by third-party model providers.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The services and open-source packages are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Autonomous agent execution is inherently stochastic; while Aegis significantly reduces runaway reasoning loops and deadlocks, Planet J does not guarantee that agent hallucinations or unhandled tool failures will be entirely eliminated in all edge cases.

In no event shall Planet J Digital, LLC be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from upstream cloud provider outages or agent tool execution failures.
